Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA)
- Volunteers in best-interest advocacy for abused and neglected children and youth in Prince George’s County, Maryland. (2020-Present)

Humanitarian Award
- Awarded by Mayor Obendorf of Virginia Beach, VA, and the Virginia Beach Human Rights Commission Tenth Annual Human Rights Recognition Program. (2004)
- The Virginia Beach Human Rights Commission (VBHRC) exists to advocate for human rights of residents in the city of Virginia Beach.

Short Bio
Tessa Lewis is the host of the Best Self Collective Podcast. Tessa has been a student of personal growth and spirituality for over 20 years. She has created a growing community seekers of personal and spiritual growth with the Best Self Collective self-discovery community.
Tessa is an Innovation and Diversity Program Manager by day and enjoys serving as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) for the best interests of abused and neglected youth in the foster care system in her free time. Tessa lives in the Washington DC area with her husband Errol and three adorable kitties.
